 １月18日（木）に，待ちに待った大谷翔平選手寄贈のグローブが本校に届きました♪

 全国の小学校に６万個送られ，１校あたり３個（左利き用１個と右利き用２個）です。        

　寄贈グローブ提供をしていただいた理由がこう伝えられています。
　「大谷翔平選手は幼少期から野球を楽しんでいた経験から，日本全国の各小学校へ3つのジュニア用野球グローブ（右利き用2個，左利き用1個）を寄贈することで，子どもたちが楽しくキャッチボールをする場面を想像しています。」

　グローブを手にした子どもたちが大谷選手の思いを受け，それぞれの夢や目標を持ち，それに向かって頑張ってほしいと思います。

　届いたグローブに，大谷選手からのメッセージが添えられていました。その一部を紹介します。

　「この3つの野球グローブは学校への寄付となります。
　それ以上に私はこのグローブが，私たちの次の世代に夢を与え，勇気づけるためのシンボルとなることを望んでいます。
　それは，野球こそが、私が充実した人生を送る機会を与えてくれたスポーツだからです。
このグローブを学校でお互いに共有し，野球を楽しんでもらうために，私からのこの個人的なメッセージを学校の生徒たちに伝えていただければ幸いです。
野球しようぜ。」

大谷選手，ありがとうございました♪

　Mr.Ohtani ,  thank you very much.  We were moved and excited when we saw your gloves. We will enjoy playing baseball with the gloves you gave us. This will remain in the hearts of children and teachers forever. Thank you for giving us hope and dreams. We are looking forward to Shohei Ohtani’s success with the Dodgers. 

大谷選手より英語のメッセージ
　I'm happy to announce that I will be donating approximately 60,000 youth gloves to every elementary school in Japan. That comes out to around 20,000 elementary schools.
　I'm hoping the kids can spend their days happily with a lot of energy through baseball.
　I'll be looking forward to sharing the field one day with someone that grew up using this glove!
　Lastly, I would like to send my appreciation to everyone that was involved and helped this project come true.
