１月22日（水）は，来年度入学してくる新１年生及び保護者を対象に，入学説明会がありました。
１年生の授業見学（算数の計算）をしました。
その後，保護者は説明会会場へ
新１年生はそのまま教室に残り，１年生と一緒に交流をしたり，学校を案内してもらったりしました。
４月から轟小学校の仲間入りです。

The students who will be entering our school in April of this year visit our school with their parents. They looked nervous, but soon they enjoyed talking with the first graders.

１月20日（月）から1月26日（日）の１週間は，学校給食週間です。
それに伴い，１月21日（火），５・６年生及び１年生を対象に，みんなの給食を作ってくださっている栄養教諭の土元先生による「食に関する授業」がありました。

「わたしたちの周りにはどんな食材や料理があるのだろう」について，学習しました。

「きゅうしょくはどのようにつくられているのか」について，学習しました。
今日は給食に湧水米の新米が出ました。本校の保護者の方が作られた湧水米です。郷土料理は，その土地や気候に合った食材や料理で，栄養バランスが良く健康によいものです。郷土の恵みに感謝の時間になりました。

１月１７日（金）の２校時に，６年生の社会科の研究授業がありました。
本校は，国や県が推奨している「学習者主体の授業」実現プロジェクトのもと，児童が自ら学び，考え，主体的に行動する力を身に付けるために，わたしたちはどのような授業展開をすれば良いかを軸に，1人１研究授業を行っています。
今後も，子どもたちのためにより良い授業作りに努めます。
There was a demonstration lesson in social studies for the sixth graders.
This time, as part of the project to realize 'learner-centered lessons' recommended by the national and prefectural governments, we had a demonstration lesson focusing on how we can develop lessons that enable students to learn, think, and act by themselves.
We will try to create better lessons for children.
１月15日（水）と16日（木）の両日に，５年生が鹿児島学力・学習状況調査を受けました。15日（水）は，国語と理科，16日（木）は，社会と算数に挑戦しました。
この調査は，鹿児島県内の児童生徒の学力や学習状況を把握し，指導法改善を図ることを目的として，県全体で取り組んでいます。
今年は，タブレットを使用し，CBT（コンピュータを利用して，実施するテスト）で行いました。文章を書くときも，キーボード入力で行いました。
５年生は，最後まで諦めずに1問1問一生懸命取り組んでいました。
これからはこういうタブレットを使ったテストが増えていくことと思います。
キーボードタイピングやタブレット使用に慣れてほしいと思います。
The fifth graders took a Kagoshima Learning Retention Survey. ( It's like a test.)
This year, they used tablets to try CBT (Computer-Based Testing). When they write the answer, they also used keyboard. Well done!!
１月８日（水）に，終業式があり３学期がスタートしました。

６年生の児童が，４月からの中学校生活に向けて，小学校のまとめに取り組むことを堂々と発表しました。

12月24日（火）は，終業式でした。
82日間の長い2学期が終わりました。

自分が頑張ったことや課題，冬休みや３学期の目標をしっかり発表しました。
校長先生の話
２学期の行事の振返りとみんながそれに向けて頑張ったこと，そして，心に届くあいさつを，みんなが心がけていることについてうれしく思っている話をしました。
生徒指導担当の先生から，冬休みの過ごし方について説明がありました。
冬休みを楽しく過ごすために，『自分の命は自分で守る行動をしましょう』と話がありました。
児童は先生の質問にもしっかりと答えていました。
表彰もたくさんありました。
みんなよく頑張りました。

今年も無事１年が終わろうとしています。
子どもたちの大きなけがや事故もなく学校生活を送ることができて，とてもうれしく思います。
また３学期に元気な子どもたちと会えることを楽しみにしています。

12月14日（土）は，全校児童によるマラソン大会がありました。
この日のために，子どもたちは朝の活動や体育の時間に一生懸命練習してきました。

走る前はとても緊張している様子が見られました。
走り終り，精一杯自分の持てる力を振り絞って走り終わった表情は，どの児童も自分のやりきった姿に満足していました。頑張ったみんなに大きな拍手です。
この頑張りを今後も思い出していろんなことにチャレンジしてほしいです。

マラソン大会のあと，ＰＴＡ主催の門松作りが行われ，地域の方々の協力をもらいながら立派な門松ができました。
轟小学校は，今後も地域・ＰＴＡと協力しながらいろんな行事に取り組んで行きたいと思います。
We made Kadomatsu, which are traditional Japanese New Year decorations. Kadomatsu are typically made from pine, bamboo, and sometimes plum branches. They are placed in pairs in front of homes to welcome ancestral spirits and bring good fortune for the coming year. The bamboo symbolizes strength and growth, while the pine represents longevity and endurance.
We would like to continue working together with the community and the PTA to engage in various events.
12月３日（火）の３校時に，全校児童による「人権集会」がありました。
【１年生】
好きな色の発表や「私と小鳥と鈴と」を手話を交えて斉唱しました。
【２年生】
人権に関する学習で学んだことやめざすクラス像を発表しました。
【３・４年生】
自分たちが考えたふわふわ言葉を発表しました。
【５・６年生】
子どもの権利条約の４つの柱と「めぐみ」を視聴した感想を発表しました。
全員の発表が終わった後，人権や子どもの権利に関するクイズをしました。
最後に校長先生より４つの話がありました。
１ 「自分だったら・・・」と考える
２ 他者意識をもつ
３ 自分の弱さを認め反省する
４ 差別や人権について正しく学ぶ
この集会で学んだことを活かして友達と仲良く過ごしてほしいと思います。
On Tuesday, December 3rd, there was a 'Human Rights Assembly' for all the students.
From 1st to 6th graders presented what they had learned about human rights.
After their presentation, the principal told them four important things.
1 Think, "What if it were me?"
2 Have an awareness of others
3 Acknowledge and reflect on your own weaknesses
4 Learn correctly about discrimination and human rights
I hope that students will remember what they learned in today's assembly to get along well with your friends.
11月22日（金）の５校時に，２年生の算数の研究授業がありました。
今回は，国や県が推奨している「学習者主体の授業」実現プロジェクトということで，
児童が自ら学び，考え，主体的に行動する力を身に付けるために，私たちはどのような授業展開をすれば良いかを軸に，研究授業を行いました。
町内の小中学校からも授業参観に来ていただきました。さらに子どもたちの力を伸ばし，教師自身の授業力も付けたいと考え，県総合教育センターから研究主事を迎えて授業研究をしました。
今後も，子どもたちのためによりよい授業作りに努めます。
