　10月17日(木)の朝活「ふれあい体育」と１・２校時に運動会の予行練習がありました。
本番さながら，みんな一生懸命取り組んでいました。

　「ラジオ体操」

「運動会の歌（Go, go, go!!）」

「かけっこ」

「１・２年生によるチェッコリ玉入れ＆ダンス」

「全員リレー」

　  運動会まであと１週間。更に練習を重ねます。
　 子どもたちの精一杯の姿が発揮できることを楽しみにしています。

 We held a rehearsal for the sports day during the first and second periods on Thursday, October 17th.
 The excitement of the opening and closing ceremonies, the races for first and second graders, and the red and white relay races felt just like the real event.
 Please look forward to our sports day!!

　 10月12日（土）の生活科の時間に１年生はシューズ洗いをしました。
　いつもはお家の人に洗ってもらっていますが，この日は自分たちできれいに洗いました♪

　これを機に，お家でできるお手伝いにどんどん取り組んでほしいと思います。

 On Saturday, October 12th, the first-graders tried washing their shoes during their life skills class.
 They did it very well.
 I hope they will continue to help out more and more at home!!

　10月13日（日）は，勝栗神社内の道場で，町豊祭相撲大会がありました。
轟小学校からは９人の児童が参加しました。

　子ども達は，一生懸命練習で取り組んだ成果を発揮すべく頑張っていました。
　負けて，悔し涙を流す子どももいました。その姿に見ている私達ももらい泣きをしました。その経験は，きっと次に生かされると思います。

　この豊祭相撲大会に向けて，栄養会などのサポートや夕方遅くまで練習や指導に当たってくださった保護者の皆様や地域の皆様に感謝です。ありがとうございました。

 There was a Yusui-cho Sumo tournament(called Hosai Sumo) on Sunday, October 13th.”
 Nine students joined this event.
 They gave their best effort in each and every match.
 Some of them cried after losing their match, but I believe this experience will be useful for them in the future.
 We are grateful to the parents and community members who supported them. They helped with practice and coaching late into the evenings in preparation for Housai Sumo tournament.

　11月１日(金)～11月７日(木)は，地域が育む「かごしまの教育」県民週間になります。

　この週間に併せて，本校では，11月12日(土)に学習発表会、11月１日(金)から７日(木)まで学校自由参観週間を計画しています。

　学習発表会と自由参観は，「いつでも　だれでも　何度でも」参観できます。保護者や地域の方々の来校をお待ちしています。

 From Friday, November 1st to Thursday, November 7th, we will have the ‘Kagoshima Education Week,’ nurtured by the community.
 The learning presentation and open observation can be attended ‘anytime, by anyone, as many times as you like.’

 We are looking forwart to seeing you soon!!

　１年生は，初めての学習発表会に向けてみんなで協力して練習を毎日頑張っています♪

音楽「虫の声」に合わせて，それぞれ虫になりきって，鳴き声を楽器を使って表現します。

　本番に向けて，ベストを尽くして楽しく取り組み，いい思い出を作ってほしいと思います。

 
 The first graders are working hard every day, practicing together for their first learning presentation event.
 To the music of ‘Mushi no Koe,’ each student will become a different insect and use instruments to express their sounds.
 Go for it!!

　10月９日（水）は，５，６年生の総合的な学習の一環として，ネギ畑の草取りをしました。

こんなに草を取りました。

　みんなが草取りを頑張ってくれたおかげで，きっとおいしい金山ネギができることと思います。収穫が楽しみです。

 5th and 6th graders weeded the green onion field hard.
 They pulled out a lot of weeds.
 Thanks to everyone's hard work in weeding, I'm sure they'll have delicious Kinzan green onions.
 I think they're looking forward to the harvest.

　10月9日（水）は，町相撲協会副会長，教育長が豊祭相撲の練習を見に来てくださいました。

    町相撲協会副会長より練習で力をつけてほしいとのことで，「金一封」をいただきました。

　この日は中学生も稽古をつけに来てくれました。
  ありがとうございます。

みんなの応援を力に変えて，本番も頑張ってほしいと思います。

We had a sumo encouragement ceremony.
The superintendent of education told the children to do their best!!
I hope they can turn everyone's support into strength and do their best at the sumo tournament.

　10月７日（月）に豊祭相撲の結団式＆栄養会があり，次の日から早速練習がスタートしました。
　今年は９人の児童が参加します。

　10月13日（日）の試合に向けて，自分の持てる力を精一杯発揮してほしいと思います。

 From this week, we have a practice for Hosai Sumo.
 This year, nine children will participate in the sumo tournament.
 They immediately dedicated themselves to sumo practice with great effort.
 I hope they do their best in preparation for the sumo tournament.

　10月27日（日）の秋季大運動会に向けて，10月４日（金）より，練習が本格的にスタートしました。

　４～６年生が校庭で応援団の練習をしている間，正しく体操ができるように練習しました。

　From October, we have started practice for the sports day.
