湧水町立轟小学校へようこそ～Todoroki Elementary School～

　２月19日（水）に，待ちに待ったサッカーボールが轟小学校に届きました♪

　未来世代応援アクションということで，明治安田生命と鹿児島県学校生協が，こどもの健全育成に資する地域・社会貢献活動の一環として，サッカーボールの寄贈をしていただきました。

　その活動に賛同している三浦知良選手から「夢は，語った方がいい。言わなきゃ，何も始まらない。」というメッセージをもらいました。

　サッカーボールを受け取った子どもたちが三浦知良選手の思いを受け，それぞれの夢や目標を持ち，それに向かって頑張ってほしいと思います。

　授業や昼休みに全校児童で大切に使います。

　On Wednesday, February 19th, We got a soccer ball ♪"
　As part of the Future Generation Support Action, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance and the Kagoshima Prefecture School Cooperative donated soccer balls as a community and social contribution activity to support the healthy development of children.

　We received a message from Kazuyoshi Miura saying, 'It's better to talk about your dreams. If you don't say them, nothing will start.'"

　We want to play soccer games with these soccer balls.
Thank you very much.

　２月17日（月）に，全校児童で県下一周駅伝の応援に行きました。湯之尾から横川の区間を轟小学校出身の選手が鹿児島チームの選手として出場するということで，応援にも熱が入りました。

　轟小学校出身の植林駿介選手の走りに感動した子どもたちでした。

　湧水町からもう一人伊佐チームの選手として出場していました。
　吉松出身の宮田章也選手です。

　 今年の駅伝は湧水町出身が大活躍でした。

　先輩に負けないように，これからも轟っ子魂を発揮して，運動に勉強に頑張ってほしいと思います。そして，先輩に続いて，将来，県下一周駅伝にチャレンジする児童が出てくることを楽しみにしています♪

　On Monday, February 17th, the Kagoshima Prefecture Ekiden Relay Race was held.
　Our students went to cheer on the Ekiden runners.
   One of the runner comes from Todoroki Elementary School!!He is a good runner♪
   I hope the students will continue to show their Todoroki spirit in both sports and studies through this Ekiden runners.                                                                             I also look forward to seeing them follow in their seniors' footsteps and challenge themselves in the Kagoshima Prefecture Ekiden Relay Race in the future.

　２月７日（金）は，授業参観，全体・学級PTAでした。

  １年生は，「１年間の思い出」や「自分たちができるようになったこと」について，パワーポイントを上手に使って発表しました。

　２年生は，国語の授業で，漢字テストや音読に取り組みました。

　３，４年生は，保護者に本の読み聞かせを行いました。
   感情を込めて上手に読むことができました。

　５・６年生は，「もう一つの物語」という内容で発表し，お互いに感想を述べ合いました。

　児童は，日頃の勉強の成果をおうちの人に良いところを見てもらおうと，いつも以上に張り切って勉強に取り組んでいました。

　その後，学級PTAや家庭教育学級の閉級式を行いました。

　充実した授業参観・学級PTAでした。
  今後も児童のために，保護者，地域と連携していけたらと思います。

　We had an open school and a PTA board meeting.
The children tried hard to learn even harder than usual.
I think it is important to cooperate with the parents and the community for the benefit of the children.

　２月４日（火）は，５・６年生は図工の時間に「ドリームプロジェクト」に取り組みました。これは，願いを込めた学校づくりや町づくりを計画し，作成するプロジェクトです。
　
　みんなで仲良く，話合いをしながら，自分の願いを込めたたった一つの場所作りに励みました。

　世界に一つしかない自分の場所作り・・・。仕上がりが楽しみです。

 On Tuesday, February 4th, the 5th and 6th graders worked on the 'Dream Project' during their art class.
 This is a project where they plan and create a school or town with their wishes in mind.
 I wonder what kind of dream place it will become.
 I'm really looking forward to their works!!

 ２月４日（火）は，全校朝会でした。校長先生が『夢』について話をしました。

　校長先生の谷山小学校時代の教え子が，いろんな挫折や困難を乗り越えて，今その夢を実現し，Ｊ２のサッカー選手として活躍している話をしました。
　自分なりの目標や夢をもち，それに向かって努力し続けることの大切さを話しました。
　日々の学校生活で，いろいろなことにチャレンジして，自分の夢や目標をもち，一生懸命取り組んでほしいと思います。「羽ばたけ！！轟っ子！！」　

　The most important thing to get your dream is to make an effort!!
　I hope that all of you will do their best♪

 

　 ２月3日（月）は，１・２年生は２回目の英語の学習でした。
　ＡＬＴのグラント先生と一緒に授業を行うのをみんな楽しみにしていました。

　今回は，海の生き物の名前を英語で言えるように，グラント先生のまねをして，上手に発音することができました。

　次に，ラインゲームやミッシングゲームを通して海の生き物の名前の英語をしっかり確認することができました。

　 とても楽しい時間になりました。
　このあと，一緒に節分に併せて，豆まきもしました。

　 楽しく英語でコミュニケーションをとることができました。

　1st and 2nd graders had an English lesson with ALT, Grant.
　They learned about the names of marine animals in English.
　They enjoyed the English games .
　Also they threw beans for Setsubun. It means that it is a traditional Japanese event that marks the beginning of spring. It is celebrated by throwing roasted soybeans to drive away evil spirits and bring good luck.
　I hope they will study English more and more and work hard to be able to communicate.

   １月30日（木）は，１年生による読み聞かせがありました。
　給食時間に放送を使って『たぬきの糸車』の読み聞かせをしました。

　読み聞かせの前日に，放送室で，一生懸命リハーサルをしました。

 　本番では，練習の成果を発揮することができました。
　 糸車の音「キークルクル」もしっかり表現できました。

 On January 31th, 1st graders challenged themselves by using the broadcast system to read a book. The tittle is “Tanuki no Itoguruma". That means "The Raccoon Dog's Spinning Wheel."
 They worked very hard on their reading aloud.
 I hope they continue to work hard on their reading aloud.

　１月28日（火）の朝の活動は第3回の「すくすくタイム」がありました。

　第３回「すくすくタイム」では，保健給食委員会の児童のメンバーが「給食のマナー」について，給食時間に，みんなが気を付けてほしいと思う内容を，劇やクイズにして発表しました。

　クイズ１：「手を水にぬらすだけでバイキンはおちる」

　正解は×でした。

　クイズ２：「マスクをしないでしゃべるとどのくらいつばがとぶ？」

　正解は1mでした。

　クイズ３：「食事中のマナー違反はどれでしょう」

　正解は，Ａ「くちゃくちゃ音をたてる」Ｂ「きたない話をする」Ｃ「食べ物を口に入れたまま話す」の全部でした。

　クイズ４：「残りかすをそのまま水道に流すとどうなる？」

　 正解は，「水道がつまる」でした。

　自分たちが考えた内容をしっかりと発表することができました。

　これを機に，給食時のマナーを意識し，楽しい給食時間を過ごしてほしいと思います。

　We had a "Sukusuku Time" in the morning activity.
　The Japanese phrase "Sukusuku" means growing up healthy.
　The students from the Health and Nutrition Committee created a quiz related to lunch manners.
　All the students enjoyed this activity.
　I hope everyone will be mindful of their manners during lunch and have an enjoyable lunchtime.

　１月22日（水）は，来年度入学してくる新１年生及び保護者を対象に，入学説明会がありました。

　１年生の授業見学（算数の計算）をしました。

　その後，保護者は説明会会場へ

　新１年生はそのまま教室に残り，１年生と一緒に交流をしたり，学校を案内してもらったりしました。

　   ４月から轟小学校の仲間入りです。
　 みんなが入学してくる日を楽しみにしています♪

　The students who will be entering our school in April of this year visit our school with their parents. They looked nervous, but soon they enjoyed talking with the first graders.
　We are looking forword to seeing you this April!!

　１月20日（月）から1月26日（日）の１週間は，学校給食週間です。
　それに伴い，１月21日（火），５・６年生及び１年生を対象に，みんなの給食を作ってくださっている栄養教諭の土元先生による「食に関する授業」がありました。

　５・６年生の授業の様子
「わたしたちの周りにはどんな食材や料理があるのだろう」について，学習しました。

　１年生の授業の様子
「きゅうしょくはどのようにつくられているのか」について，学習しました。

　今日は給食に湧水米の新米が出ました。本校の保護者の方が作られた湧水米です。郷土料理は，その土地や気候に合った食材や料理で，栄養バランスが良く健康によいものです。郷土の恵みに感謝の時間になりました。

　The fifth, sixth graders and the first graders had a lesson about food.
　Ms. Tsuchimoto(She is a Kurino ES teacher and a nutrition teacher.) taught them to the students.
　The fifith and sixth graders learned about Japanese(local) food.
　The first graders learned about “how school lunch are made”.

　Let's appreciate the people who make our school lunches and eat them.
