湧水町立轟小学校へようこそ～Todoroki Elementary School～

　12月14日（土）は，全校児童によるマラソン大会がありました。
　この日のために，子どもたちは朝の活動や体育の時間に一生懸命練習してきました。

　走る前はとても緊張している様子が見られました。
　走り終り，精一杯自分の持てる力を振り絞って走り終わった表情は，どの児童も自分のやりきった姿に満足していました。頑張ったみんなに大きな拍手です。

　この頑張りを今後も思い出していろんなことにチャレンジしてほしいです。

　マラソン大会のあと，ＰＴＡ主催の門松作りが行われ，地域の方々の協力をもらいながら立派な門松ができました。
　轟小学校は，今後も地域・ＰＴＡと協力しながらいろんな行事に取り組んで行きたいと思います。

 We made Kadomatsu, which are traditional Japanese New Year decorations.   Kadomatsu are typically made from pine, bamboo, and sometimes plum branches.   They are placed in pairs in front of homes to welcome ancestral spirits and bring good fortune for the coming year. The bamboo symbolizes strength and growth, while the pine represents longevity and endurance.

 We would like to continue working together with the community and the PTA to engage in various events.

　12月３日（火）の３校時に，全校児童による「人権集会」がありました。
　
　
　【１年生】
　好きな色の発表や「私と小鳥と鈴と」を手話を交えて斉唱しました。

【２年生】
 人権に関する学習で学んだことやめざすクラス像を発表しました。

　【３・４年生】
　自分たちが考えたふわふわ言葉を発表しました。

　【５・６年生】
　 子どもの権利条約の４つの柱と「めぐみ」を視聴した感想を発表しました。

　全員の発表が終わった後，人権や子どもの権利に関するクイズをしました。

　最後に校長先生より４つの話がありました。
　１　「自分だったら・・・」と考える
　２　他者意識をもつ
　３　自分の弱さを認め反省する
　４　差別や人権について正しく学ぶ

　この集会で学んだことを活かして友達と仲良く過ごしてほしいと思います。

On Tuesday, December 3rd, there was a 'Human Rights Assembly' for all the students.
From 1st to 6th graders presented what they had learned about human rights.

After their presentation, the principal told them four important things.

1 Think, "What if it were me?"
2 Have an awareness of others
3 Acknowledge and reflect on your own weaknesses
4 Learn correctly about discrimination and human rights

 I hope that students will remember what they learned in today's assembly to get along well with your friends.

　11月22日（金）の５校時に，２年生の算数の研究授業がありました。

　今回は，国や県が推奨している「学習者主体の授業」実現プロジェクトということで，
児童が自ら学び，考え，主体的に行動する力を身に付けるために，私たちはどのような授業展開をすれば良いかを軸に，研究授業を行いました。

　町内の小中学校からも授業参観に来ていただきました。さらに子どもたちの力を伸ばし，教師自身の授業力も付けたいと考え，県総合教育センターから研究主事を迎えて授業研究をしました。

 　今後も，子どもたちのためによりよい授業作りに努めます。

　There was a demonstration lesson in math for the second graders.

  This time, as part of the project to realize 'learner-centered lessons' recommended by the national and prefectural governments, we had a demonstration lesson focusing on how we can develop lessons that enable students to learn, think, and act by themselves.
　Also, second graders challenged the guided learning in math. They did it very well.
Good job!!

　We will try to create better lessons for children.

　11月は，「いい歯にっこり轟っ子月間」です。
　そこで，今回は高学年が歯磨きの指導を受けました。

　轟小学校は，歯肉炎がある児童が多ので，それを防ぐためには，どうすればよいか磨き方の学習をしました。

　まずはビデオでデンタルフロスの使い方の確認

　鏡を見ながら実践

　テキストを使って，磨き方の復習

　歯と歯の間の磨き残しがないように，歯ブラシだけではなく，デンタルフロスを使って丁寧に磨く練習をしました。
　おうちでもしっかり歯磨きをしてほしいと思います。

 November is " Good Teeth Smiling Month , Todoroki students"
 Todoroki Elementary School has many students with gingivitis(歯肉炎）, so they learned how to brush their teeth properly to prevent it.
 They practiced brushing carefully, not only with a toothbrush but also using dental floss, to ensure there are no areas left uncleaned between the teeth.
 Let's brush their own teeth clearly.

　11月12日（火）は，1年生から4年生が植えた芋の収穫をしました。

 　地域の方のご厚意で，毎年サツマイモの苗を頂いて，大切に育てました。
　芋の収穫をしながら，草取りも頑張りました。

　さて，どうやって食べるか，これから楽しみです♪

 On Tuesday, November 12th, the first to fourth graders harvested the sweet potatoes they had planted.
 While harvesting the sweet potatoes, we also worked hard to weed.
 We can't to wait to eat them!! Well, how should we cook these sweet potatoes?

　 11月11日（月）は，１・２年生は国際交流の時間でした。
　ＡＬＴのグラント先生との授業をみんな楽しみにしていました。

　最初は，身近な動物を英語でなんというか，グラント先生のまねをして，みんな上手にそれぞれの動物の名前を英語で言うことができました。

　次に，いろんなゲームを通して動物の名前の英語をしっかり確認することができました。
　とても楽しい時間になりました。
　もっともっと英語を勉強して，しっかりコミュニケーションができるように頑張ってほしいと思います。

 1st and 2nd graders had an English lesson with ALT, Grant.
 They learned about the names of animals in English.
 They enjoyed it very much!!
 I hope they will study English more and more and work hard to be able to communicate well.

　11月６日（水）にぞうきんの贈呈式がありました。

　姶良伊佐法人会女性部より40枚のぞうきんをいただきました。

　毎年，女性部の方々が手作業で作成し，姶良・伊佐地区の学校に輪番で寄付されているそうです。
　ありがとうございます。大切に使っていきたいと思います。
　

On Wednesday, November 6th, there was a ceremony for the presentation of cleaning cloths.
These cleaning cloths were handmade.
We would like to use them with care.
Thank you very much.

　11月５日（火），５・６校時は，５・６年生が花とのふれあい事業でフラワーアレンジメントにチャレンジしました。

　今回講師を引き受けてくださった福岡生花の社長さんは，轟小出身でした。とても懐かしそうに授業をしていただきました。

　生花店の社長さんの指導のもと，素敵なフラワーアレンジメントができました。

　子どもたちも初めての体験で，とても楽しそうにアレンジメントを楽しんでいました。

 5th and 6th graders tried flower arranging as part of the Flower Interaction Project.
 They did it for the first time and they enjoyed arranging flowers.
 They made wonderful works. Good job, everyone!!

　11月１日（金），５校時は，家庭教育学級で１年生親子がジェルキャンドル作りにチャレンジしました。

　講師の先生の指導のもと，親子で協力しながら，世界に一つしかない個性的なジェルキャンドルを作成することができました。

　学校保健委員会では，「心は育てることができる⁉～レジリエンスについて知ろう～」と題して， 学校カウンセラーによる，人生において逆境や困難に遭った時にもその状態に耐え，そこから回復するしなやかな心を育てることについて講演がありました。

給食試食会では，子どもたちは保護者の方と一緒に給食を食べました😋

　県民週間期間の後は，学習発表会が控えています。
  子どもたちの頑張りを是非見に来てほしいと思います。

 We had a family education class and a school health committee meeting in our school.
 In family education class「家庭教育学級」，1st year graders students and their parents tried to make jel candles. Each of them created unique works.  They looked happy.

 At the school health committee meeting, there was a lecture by the school counselor titled "Can We Cultivate the Heart? ~Understanding Resilience~".

 The lecture focused on developing a resilient mind that can endure and recover from adversities and difficulties in life.

 At the school lunch tasting event, the children ate lunch together with their parents. 😋
 After the Prefectural Citizens' Week, We will have a Learning Presentation Event.

We hope many people will come and see the childrens' hard work.

　11月１日（金）から11月７日（木）まで，地域が育む「かごしまの教育」県民週間です。この機会に，子どもたちの頑張っている姿を見にいらしてください。

　11月１日（金），2校時は，「高原フェスタ」ＰＲ活動ということで，チェーンソーアーティスト３人が学校を訪問し，チェーンソーアートの話をしてくださいました。

On Friday, November 1st, three chainsaw artists visited our school.
They talked about why they became chainsaw artists or their works.
The students were really moved their works.
We hope they continue to create various artworks!! Thank you!!
